West Ham have reportedly reopened talks with Sevilla over the availability of long-term striking target Youseff En-Nesyri, who is valued at around £35million.

Following on from their impressive 3-1 win over Chelsea at the weekend, Hammers fans will be delighted to hear that the club are in talks for a new striker.

West Ham have reportedly reignited their interest in Morroccan international Youseff En-Nesyri, who Sevilla value at around £35million according to 90min.

The Hammers made an approach for the forward in 2021, however their £27million bid was rebuffed by his La Liga employers.

Their interest in En-Nesyri comes amid their lack of depth in terms of striking options. Following Gianluca Scamacca’s departure, the only out-and-out strikers at the club are Michail Antonio, Danny Ings, and academy product Divin Mubama.

Clearly in desperate need for consistent returns in front of goal, En-Nesyri could be exactly what the Hammers are looking for having scored 18 goals in all competitions last term.

There had been reports that the East London club were interested in RC Lens’ Elye Wahi earlier in the week too, however he has since opted to remain with the Ligue 1 outfit.

Mohammed Kudus is another who has been linked with a move to the London Stadium after the Hammers’ technical director flew to Amsterdam to conduct talks with Ajax – who value the Ghanaian at around £45million.

Despite being linked to the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Brighton, a move to West Ham now looks to be the likeliest option for Kudus.
