Aston Villa bounced back from opening day defeat in style on Sunday afternoon with a 4-0 win over Everton. Following the result, check out the latest Everton relegation odds after a disastrous performance from Sean Dyche’s side.
Story Of The Game
Unai Emery’s side got back to winning ways with a solid performance against Everton and John McGinn scored the opening goal of the game. The Villa captain was in the right place at the right time to fire home a Leon Bailey cross thanks to some comical defending from Everton.
Things went from bad to worse for the Toffees, as Jordan Pickford clattered Ollie Watkins. The England ‘keeper was booked and Douglas Luiz cooly converted, making it 2-0 to Villa.

Emery’s side led 2-0 at half-time, and in the second half they continued to impress, with Everton still offering nothing at either end of the pitch.
The hosts found themselves 3-0 up shortly after the second half kicked off, with more help from the Toffees’ defence. Luca Digne’s long throw wasn’t dealt with and the ball fell to Leon Bailey who made no mistake volleying past Pickford.
Villa were not finished there, and made it 4-0 on the 75th minute. Jhon Duran came off the bench and scored his first Premier League goal for the club, and it was another gift from Everton. Ashley Young’s throw was poor, and Michael Keane couldn’t get there first allowing Duran to run through on goal and slot the ball past Pickford.
The game finished 4-0 as Villa recorded their first win of the season. As for the visitors, they are without a win or goal after the first two games. You can check out the latest Everton relegation odds below.
