Brighton have looked like one of the best teams in the Premier League already this season and they sent themselves straight back to the top of the league on Saturday, with a convincing 4-1 win over Wolves.

The Seagulls yet again looked like a force to be reckoned with as they put four past their opponents and it took them no time at all to get off the mark at Molineux.

Brighton took the lead after just 15 minutes through a familiar scorer, as Karou Mitoma finished a beautiful individual effort that had the whole stadium in awe to give the Seagulls an early advantage.

The Japanese international scythed through the Wolves defence, before cutting inside the box and calmly slotting the ball past Jose Sa in goal.

Although they couldn’t find the net again in the first half, Brighton came out of the blocks with some speed in the second period with a goal after just one minute from Pervis Estupinan doubling their advantage.

Solly March scored his first of the game shortly after, as Brighton suddenly had a commanding 3-0 advantage just five minutes into the second half of the game.

March got his second of the match and third of the season just two minutes later, as Brighton cut through the Wolves defence like a hot knife through butter.

Boos echoed around Molineux as Brighton played around the Wolves side like it was nothing, before the ball made its way to March who poked home the visitors’ fourth of the game with some ease.

Wolves were able to grab a consolation goal with half an hour left to play, as Hwang Hee-Chan scored his first of the season with a glancing header past Jason Steele in goal to give Wolves fans something to cheer about.

Things did turn sour late on as the hosts were reduced to ten men in the dying minutes of the game, with Matheus Nunes shown a second yellow card for a shove in Adam Webster’s back.
