Manchester City take on Sevilla in the Super Cup on Wednesday evening and ahead of the action we’re comparing the squad values of both of Man City and Sevilla. Check out the Man City vs Sevilla squad values compared further down the page.
Pep Guardiola’s side come into the game after winning the club’s first ever Champions League at the end of last season, after they beat Inter Milan 1-0 thanks to a goal from Rodri.
Meanwhile, Sevilla have their place in this one after winning the Europa League for a sensational seventh time. The Spaniards beat Jose Mourinho’s Roma 4-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw after extra time.
City have done a fair bit of sensible transfer business once again this summer. They have replaced players well who have moved on. They signed Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea, and most recently brought in Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig. However, they have also seen key figures of the squad over the past few years leave.
Ilkay Gundagon left on a free transfer to join Barcelona, and Riyad Mahrez hopped aboard the Saudi Pro League train, joining Al-Ahli.
Sevilla themselves have made a couple of signings too. French defender Loic Bade made his loan move from Rennes permanent and Djibril Sow of Frankfurt was purchased for £10million earlier this month.
