Star signings have been key for the Magpies, with Kieran Trippier, Nick Pope and Bruno Guimaraes being vital players for the entirety for last season.
Champions League qualification will bring new challenges to the Newcastle, however, with further additions made the club are set for a huge campaign.

A midfield partnership with Brazilian international, Bruno Guimaraes, could be huge for the club given their recent qualification for the Champions League.
Harvey Barnes:
Harvey Barnes signed from Leicester earlier in the window and could be a key player this season. The Englishman has come in to replace the departing Allan Saint-Maximin.
Barnes contributed to 15 goals last year, which is an impressive record when you consider the abysmal season Leicester had.
