1:50pm – Coral Stewards’ Sprint Handicap (Consolation Race For The Stewards’ Cup) Cl2 (3yo+) 6f ITV: ZAMAN JEMIL @ 3/1
The first race for the Saturday Jason Weaver Glorious Goodwood tips sees him back ZAMAN JEMIL in the 1.50pm for Harry & Roger Charlton as the 3/1 outright favourite with the best horse racing betting sites.
The Charlton’s’ three-year-old has made steady progression since winning over this 6f distance on the all-weather at Newcastle. He’s also run really well when trying the long sprint distance of 7f on a couple of tries this season.
Zaman Jemil has improved again for the drop back to 6f and carries a 6lb penalty for a smooth success at Thirsk. He also seems to act under any conditions.

Jason Weaver’s second tip on Saturday at Glorious Goodwood sees him back the William Haggas-trained POST IMPRESSIONIST in the 2:25pm with jockey Tom Marquand in the saddle.
Post Impressionist has only had one run so far this season when he underperformed in the Northumberland Plate. His season can start in earnest now for Team Haggas.

Next up for ‘The Weaver Shark’ is TIME LOCK in the Qatar Lillie Langtry Stakes, again for Roger & Harry Charlton. Ryan Moore is given the ride here on the 4-year-old who is priced at 5/1 with the best horse racing betting apps.
Weaver is giving Time Lock one last roll of the dice to start to fulfil some of the potential she showed last season. Connections were notably slow to come to hand in the early part of this campaign and are now in much better form. Free Wind disappointed last time and if she fails to fire again, the selection can take advantage.

The joint bottom weight has dropped a whopping 21lbs in the ratings since a peak mark of 108. Came From The Dark looked to be coming to the boil nicely last time when not beaten too far over 5f in Ireland, suggesting that this slick 6 furlongs with a bit of ease in the ground is going to suit.
There are plenty of old favourites in the line-up, but he is undoubtedly the best-handicapped runner in the line-up if returning to his best.
