In a rare outsider shot for Frankie, he rides Sean Woods’ NAZALAN in the second race of the day at Goodwood. Despite his big price, Nazalan isn’t a bad horse at all – and Dettori wouldn’t ride it if he didn’t think it had somewhat of a chance. He’s not been disgraced in any of his three starts and was last seen finishing third behind Kylian at Sandown. Prior to that, he won by two lengths over 5f, showing top quality. This is the first time that Woods’ two-year-old will run over 6f, so he could certainly be one to watch in this one.

The penultimate race of the day sees Frankie take the ride on current market favourite GET JIGGY WITH IT in a tough 2yo contest to call. This filly was second on debut at Newmarket just a couple of weeks ago, and can do better this time around. She is a half-sister to three winners including useful 7f winner Smile of Love. Kieran Shoemark was aboard Get Jiggy With It on debut, and the booking of Dettori is a positive one from Charles Hills.
