Liverpool are reportedly in negotiations with PSG over a potential loan deal for French superstar, Kylian Mbappe, despite heavy interest from Real Madrid.
The France international has been the subject of the biggest transfer saga this summer, confirming his desire to leave the Parisian side before the start of the 2023-24 campaign.
With one-year left on his current deal, the club are keen to offload their global star in the current window and avoid any chance of a free transfer next year.
A move to Saudi Arabia looked likely, however, despite a staggering offer (which would have seen Mbappe earn around £700m a year) the 24-year-old rejected to even begin negotiations.
According to reports, Liverpool are now entertaining the possibility of signing the PSG player on loan, despite suggestions of agreed personal terms with Real Madrid.

The Frenchman has established himself as one Europe’s best players since bursting onto the scene at Monaco in 2017. Becoming PSG’s record goal scorer aged 24, with 212 goals in 260 matches, Mbappe has seen his profile rise tremendously.
Liverpool are reportedly proposing a loan deal, with an option to buy, but may struggle in negotiations due to the 2022-23 campaign.
The Reds failed to qualify for the Champions League in the 2022-23 campaign, as they finished fifth in the Premier League. Meaning Jurgen Klopp’s side will compete in the Europa League for the first time in over five seasons.

Roberto Firmino, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and James Milner have all parted ways with Liverpool and captain, Jordan Henderson, has joined Al Ettifaq.
A move to Klopp’s side seems unlikely due to Mbappe’s evident desire to join Real Madrid, however the Reds are in reported talks with the Ligue 1 champions.
