Marcus Rashford Agrees New Manchester United Contract

The 25-year-old England international has been in negotiations with United over extending his current deal that expires next summer for a long time. However, now he looks set to commit his long-term future to the club.

Rashford received a lot of lucrative offers from teams in England and Europe but has turned them down to stay with his boyhood club.

Last season Rashford had his best season to date with the Red Devils, and scored 30 goals in 56 games across all competitions.

He will become one of the highest earners in the Premier League when the extension is made official. Only Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah will be paid more.

It has been a busy summer for Erik ten Hag’s side, after recently signing Mason Mount with a few more incomings expected in the coming weeks.

The club are now preparing for the arrival of Andre Onana from Inter Milan who will be David de Gea’s replacement.

Ten Hag also wants to sign Atalanta wonderkid Rasmus Hojlund, but the Italian side want a lot of money for the youngster, which could be out of United’s price range.
