Luton Town have confirmed the signing of former Manchester United youngster Tahith Chong from Birmingham City for a reported £5million + £5million in add-ons.
Chong Joins Luton From Birmingham
The 23-year-old moved to Birmingham last summer on a permanent deal for roughly £1.5m after a successful loan spell the season before last.
He has now joined Luton, who are preparing for their first season in the Premier League following promotion from the Championship.
Chong scored five goals and registered eight assists in 61 appearances for the Blues over two seasons.

The former United prospect was speaking following his move: “In the few hours that I’ve been here I already get the feeling that it really is a family club,” Chong said. “I’m a football fan I’ve watched some games so I’ve seen how they’ve played and it shows togetherness and unity – and you can only have that if you’re a family club.
“I think that’s important because every club faces adversity – it’s not always going to be good – but if you’re a family club you stick through it together and it’s easier as a family.”

Chong only made 16 first-team appearances for United and had loan spells at Werder Bremen and Club Brugge.
He becomes Luton’s third signing of the summer following Chiedozie Ogbene and Mads Andersen joining the side from Rotherham United and Barnsley respectively.
