Six PSG players have reportedly complained to club president Nassr Al-Khelaifi about Kylian Mbappe’s controversial comments to France Football today.

The PSG captain branded his side as a ‘divisive’ club and believes that his performances have been overly criticised during his time in Ligue 1, as the French league is much harder to impress in.

“Are people trivializing my performances? Yes, but at the same time, I don’t blame them. In France, they saw me grow up, they see me all the time, at PSG every weekends or in [national] selection.

“And I’ve been scoring a lot for years. So, for people, it’s becoming normal. I’ve never complained that my performances are trivialized.

“I’m young and I’ve had the chance to It was not that long ago to be an observer, before being an actor.”

Mbappe made his debut in France for Monaco at the age of just 16 and the country has watched him blossom into one of the best players in the world in the years since.

The 24-year-old continued to speak about Messi and Ronaldo, comparing his ‘trivialized’ performances to those of the greats.

“And myself, I trivialized what Messi was doing, what Cristiano Ronaldo was doing, what the great players were doing.

“And the fact that I’m right next door, in Paris… I think playing at Paris-SG doesn’t help much because it’s a divisive team, a divisive club.

PSG have given their superstar a deadline of July 31st to make a decision about his future, with the club threatening to sell Mbappe’s teammates if he forces a free transfer.
