According to reports, Mauricio Pochettino has included Paulo Dybala on his ‘transfer wish-list’ at Chelsea, as the Roma star has a €12m release clause.
The Blues have seen a host of players leave the club in the opening stages of this summer transfer window, with Mason Mount, Kalidou Koulibaly, N’Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy all moving elsewhere.
Academy graduate, Mason Mount, shocked Chelsea supporters with his decision to leave the club and rubbed salt in the wounds by signing for fierce rivals, Manchester United, earlier on today.
With all these players moving on this summer, Mauricio Pochettino will be looking to add some reinforcements to the side from west London. As the club’s only addition, Christopher Nkunku, had already agreed a deal in January.
One player that is reportedly on Chelsea’s transfer wish-list, is Argentina international, Paulo Dybala, who could be available for just €12m – should the Blues activate his release clause.

The 29-year-old has made 296 appearances in Serie A, for the likes of Juventus, Roma and Palermo – scoring 110 goals and assisting 58.
During this time, he has picked up five league titles, four Italian Cups and three Italian Super Cups; whilst also winning the World Cup with Argentina last year.
Dybala has shown no signs of slowing down, as in the 2022-23 campaign, he contributed to 24 goals in 38 appearances and was key to Roma’s run to the Europa League final.
A move to Chelsea seems unlikely after a successful season in Italy, however, there is a chance in negotiations due to the possibility of working under his fellow countryman, Pochettino and a surprisingly low release clause.
