The Gunners have agreed an £105m deal with the Hammers to sign Rice and the deal appears to be very close.

Despite an agreed fee, the clubs are still in negotiation over other terms and clauses but the deal could be concluded as soon as next week.

And now the Hammers have dropped a huge hint about the move with the Rice shirt no longe being available to buy on the club’s online store.

Hammers chiefs want all of the £105m by the start of 2025 whereas the Gunners would prefer financially to stagger the payment over a longer period of time.

Rice is believed to have agreed personal terms and wants the deal to be wrapped up as soon as possible.

A medical could be scheduled for early next week with Arsenal set to complete their second summer signing. Kai Havertz’s move from Chelsea was confirmed on Wednesday with the Germany international becoming the Gunners’ highest paid player. He’ll  earn £330,000 per week with Rice expected to be on a similar wage.
