Ajax have set a £40m price tag for star player Mohammed Kudus who is wanted by multiple Premier League clubs. The Ghana international has been subject to interest from Manchester United, Chelsea and Brighton.
Mohammed Kudus Price Tag Set At £40m
The 22-year-old has attracted plenty of interest with his performances for the Dutch side and scored 18 goals in all competitions last season.
While Kudus has been on United’s radar for a couple of transfer windows now, it is Brighton who are in the driving seat to sign the attacking midfielder.
The Seagulls have reportedly entered talks with Ajax over a deal, which would see them break their transfer record for the second time this summer. Roberto De Zerbi’s side have already broke it once when they payed £30m for Watford forward Joao Pedro.
Brighton have a huge gap to fill in the side following the departure of Alexis Mac Allister to Liverpool. Kudus could be the perfect replacement for the Argentinian and look to be the favourites to land the move.

Kudus’ agent Jennifer Mendelewitsch made a comment last month that turned heads of potential buyers saying: “I think it is best for both Ajax and Mohammed that he makes the transfer now.
“Now is the right time. He has ignored a proposal to extend his contract until the summer of 2026.
“What I can say is that after the World Cup and this season there is a lot of interest in Kudus.”
