Inter Milan are reportedly preparing to launch a fresh bid this week to bring Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku back to the San Siro this summer.
Romelu Lukaku Bid Expected From Inter
Lukaku spent last season on loan with the Serie A giants after returning to the club for a second time following a calamitous 2021/22 campaign for Chelsea.
The Nerazzuri are keen on bringing him back to the club once again. They have already had a bid turned down by the Blues, but another is expected this week.
Inter are expected to take the Belgian back on another season-long loan deal but with an option to buy him at the end of it for €30m (£26m).

Chelsea could insist that Inter are obliged to buy Lukaku next summer, which could be a problem. However, the 30-year-old is known to love playing in a black and blue shirt and is a popular figure amongst the fans.
Lukaku has plenty of offers on the table, and Inter’s fierce rivals AC Milan are also said to be interested in his services. Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal have also made a lucrative offer to take him to the Middle East.
New Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is set to start work at the beginning of next week, and sorting out the Belgian’s future is likely to be one of his main priorities.
Chelsea have already offloaded N’Golo Kante and Kalidou Koulibaly to the Saudi Pro League with more expected to follow in the coming days. The Blues would likely prefer to sell to a Saudi club due to the money they can offer.
