Everton forward Demarai Gray could be the latest Premier League player to make the switch to the Saudi Pro League with Al-Hilal reportedly interested in his services.

Al-Hilal are set to enter negotiations with the Toffees next week and appear to be serious about bringing Gray over to the Middle East.

The former Leicester City and Bayer Leverkusen winger joined Everton back in 2021 from the Bundesliga side and has gone on to play 75 times for the Toffees.

It now appears that the 26-year-old’s excellent technical ability on the ball has been caught the eyes of those in the Saudi Pro League.

Al-Hilal “want to sign the Everton forward” and a “delegation from the club is expected to be in London for negotiations next week.”

The Riyadh-based side have already made some big moves in the market so far this summer with Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly and Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves their most recent signings.

According to reports, Al-Hilal are also exploring the possibility of bringing Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva to the capital and are considering offering a lucrative contract to the Champions League winner. However, Gray looks the more likely forward to join the club.

This comes after both Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville have expressed their growing concerns over players moving from the Premier League to Saudi Arabia, with the former Liverpool defender claiming Silva’s potential transfer could be a “game changer” before saying “This sports washing needs to be stopped!”
