The Carabao Cup first round games have been confirmed in the first major cup draw of the 2023/24 season. All 72 teams in the EFL will enter at this stage, so read on to see the full Carabao Cup first round draw.
Manchester United are the current holders of the cup after they beat Newcastle United in a dramatic penalty shootout back in February.
Carabao Cup First Round Draw: How Does It Work?
All 72 EFL sides feature in the first round, which is split into north and south sections for purposes of the draw. The winners will be joined by 12 Premier League sides in the second round, before the remaining eight join in at the third-round stage.
Those joining in the third round all feature in European competitions, so enter at a later stage.
