Chelsea have reached an agreement with Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr over the sale of Hakim Ziyech who edges closer to his Stamford Bridge exit.

The 30-year-old is still contracted to Chelsea until 2025, but his disappointing time at the club looks to be coming to an end.

Having signed from Ajax in a deal worth around £40m in 2020, the Morocco international will leave for just £8m and is set to put pen to paper on a three-year contract until 2026.

Despite his poor time in England, there is no doubt that he would be a quality acquisition for Al Nassr, where he will now play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ziyech is not the first Chelsea player to be moving to the Middle East, with N’Golo Kante finalising his move on Monday. A host of other Blues players could be on their way to the Saudi Pro League with Callum Hudson-Odoi, Edouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly also rumoured to be nearing an exit.

Ziyech did look destined to join Paris Saint-Germain back in January, but due to problems on the Chelsea’s side, the deal fell through on deadline day.

There’s plenty of stars of European football making the switch over to the Saudi Pro League, and Ziyech is almost certain to be one of the next.

Heung-min Son had also been linked with a move, however the South Korean reassured Tottenham fans that his time in England won’t be coming to an end quite yet.
