According to UK betting sites, Barcelona are in contention to sign Manchester City star, Bernardo Silva, despite heavy interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
The La Liga giants are set to have a huge summer transfer window after clinching their 27th league title – ending the season 11 points ahead of Real Madrid.
Long-time servants, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets, will leave the club this summer and has increased the need for reinforcements in the coming window.
Xavi’s side were set to make the biggest signing of the summer, as Lionel Messi decided his time in Paris was over. However, despite rumours over a return to the Nou Camp, the former Barcelona star signed for MLS side, Inter Miami.
Missing out on their former superstar would have been a blow to the Catalan side, however, one player that could be on his way to Barcelona is Manchester City ace, Bernardo Silva.

The Portuguese international was pivotal in the club’s historic treble triumph, as he contributed to 15 goals in 55 appearances.
Forming a superb midfield relationship with Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Rodri, Silva has established himself as one of the best players in the Premier League and has attracted interest from a variety of clubs.
Paris Saint-Germain are the bookies’ favourites to land the 28-year-old, however, with recent controversy surrounding Kylian Mbappe, the Parisian side may focus elsewhere and could open up a move to La Liga.
Despite signing a new deal in Manchester earlier this year, that is not set to expire until 2025, the former Monaco midfielder is reportedly looking to leave this summer and any transfer could cost up to £60m.
