According to reports, a variety of English clubs are keen on Manchester United superstar, youngster Diallo, after an impressive campaign at Sunderland.

After signing for the Red Devils for £20m in 2021, many expected the Ivorian to become a regular first-team player and give Manchester United a much-needed boost following a run of poor seasons.

However, after months of sitting on the sideline, Amad was given permission to join Sunderland on loan for the 2022-23 campaign – which re-ignited the 20-year-old.

Scoring 13 goals and contributing with three assists, Diallo was one of the brightest sparks in the Championship. These performances took Sunderland all the way to the play-off semi final, where the Black Cats fell-short to eventual play-off champions, Luton Town.

Despite this, Amad is expected to be playing Premier League football next season, after reportedly attracting interest from Burnley, Everton and West Ham.

With the chance of European Football still well and truly alive, West Ham may be the front-runners to land the Ivory Coast winger. However, failure to win the Europa Conference League final would dampen their hopes of summer signings.

If the Manchester United forward does not choose to play in the Premier League next season, then a return to Sunderland could be on the cards. As the youngster confirmed on Instagram that he would re-join the Black Cats if Tony Mowbray remained at the helm.

Manchester Unite may be willing to work Diallo into their first-team setup, as they have found great success with the implementation of teenager, Alejandro Garnacho.

Amad’s future remains in doubt, as a solid 2022-23 campaign has increased the demand for the Ivorian’s services and a loan deal looks the most likely outcome.
