1. Erling Haaland, Manchester City, £170million
Well, there’s no secret as to why Erling Haaland comes first in our most valuable Premier League players list. The Norwegian had a first season in England to remember, breaking record after record. He also recently picked up a double at the Premier League’s annual awards night, where he was awarded both Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season.
In 51 games in all competitions so far this season, Haaland has scored 52 goals. There’s also a potential for him to add to that tally, as City chase a monumental treble. Pep Guardiola’s side still play Manchester United in the FA Cup final, and Inter Milan in the Champions League final.
Proud and humbled to become the first-ever footballer to win both the Premier League Player of the Season and Premier League Young Player of the Season. Thanks to my family, fans, teammates and the whole staff for this! 🏆 ➕ 🏆 @ManCity @premierleague pic.twitter.com/nwJC1YTmhs

2. Phil Foden, Manchester City, £110million
Next on the list Phil Foden, another City player. The 22-year-old started the season in great form and scored a hat-trick against noisy neighbours United back in October, however began to fall out of the team ahead of the World Cup. He’s struggled to get back into to the side as a regular starter, not helped by a few injuries so far this year.
However as Foden returned to full match fitness, City won the league with a few games to spare and the Stockport youngster has made three starts in a row scoring a goal in the process against Brighton.
Foden’s market value is still very high, and with three years left on his contract there’s no sign of him moving on yet.

There’s been plenty of rumours about his exit this summer, with Manchester United and Real Madrid both interested in the 29-year-old.
