Manchester City are odds-on favourites to win next season’s Premier League and make it four consecutive years at the top of English football.
City made it three crowns in a row with two games to spare this season, pipping Arsenal to what would’ve been a first league title in almost two decades.
Pep Guardiola’s side lost on the final day away at Brentford, finishing with 89 points – five clear of Arsenal and 14 ahead of Manchester United in third.
The Spaniard named a rotated side in west London, with the upcoming FA Cup final against Manchester United and Champions League final against Inter in mind.
After securing the league, Guardiola’s attention turns to City’s efforts to become the first team to match Sir Alex Ferguson’s famous treble win in 1998/99.

The club are preparing to lose midfield talisman Ilkay Gundogan on a free transfer, whose contract expires after the season finish. Arsenal are said to be one of the interested clubs.
As long as the Citizens employ Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne, they are likely to enter the market as favourites to win every competition they play in.
