Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho could make senior debut for Argentina national team after being called up to their squad once again.

Garnacho Picked For Argentina

The 18-year-old has been called up twice before but is yet to make an appearance for his country on a senior level.

In March 2022 Garnacho was called up to the Argentina team as part of a 44-man squad for their two World Cup qualifiers that month. He made it into the 33-man squad for the fixtures, but didn’t make an appearance.

Garnacho was also called up once again in March 2023, but had to withdraw from the squad after suffering an ankle injury.

However, he has returned from injury recently and has been selected for La Albiceleste’s Asia Tour. The 2022 World Cup champions will take on Australia in Bejing, and Indonesia in Jakarta during the tour.

Upon his return from injury, Garnacho scored on his first game back in a United shirt. He came off the bench to an astounding reception from the Red Devils faithful with 12 minutes to go against Wolves a couple of weeks back, and marked his return with a very well taken goal.
