In the latest Liverpool injury update, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that both Diogo Jota and Jordan Henderson are doubts for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Brentford.

Liverpool Injury Update

Klopp has certainly had his fair share of injury issues to deal with this season, and it doesn’t get much better as the Reds prepare for their final four games.

Two key players look set to be unavailable in Jota and Henderson. They both took part in Wednesday’s win against Fulham, with the former coming on with seven minutes remaining, and the latter starting ahead of Harvey Elliot.

However, Jota has been dealing with a back problem ever since last month’s win over West Ham and was restricted in parts of training on Thursday.

As for Henderson, he’s undergone a scan for an unspecified problem with Klopp saying it could be enough to keep him out of this weekend’s game.

Klopp was speaking in his recent pre-Brentford press conference, and gave a Liverpool injury update.

“Diogo has a back issue, bruised rib. He could train yesterday but he didn’t do a lot, to be honest. He was not really in danger yesterday for any kind of contact or stuff like this, so we have to see there,

“Hendo, we have to see. He had yesterday a scan, didn’t see the results yet. It will not be a big thing but maybe it’s enough to rule him out for tomorrow – I don’t know yet.

Klopp also confirmed reports that Thiago Alcantara will miss the rest of the season due to a hip injury.
