LOVE MOCHA (system – Awtaad 3yos, early-season turf runners)

Three-year-old progeny of the sire Awtaad have a useful record on turf in the first half of the year, landing 23 of their 151 starts for a profit of £34.84 to the usual £1 stake. Those who’d raced within the past six weeks were 19 from 89 for a profit of £73.68. LOVE MOCHA has shown promise from the front in both starts to date, including on her reappearance 24 days ago, and could be hard to pass.

WETHERBY 3.05

MAHANAKHON (system – Tim Easterby, 4yo+, April, second run after a break)

Tim Easterby’s older runners (4yo+) tend to do well in April on their second run back after a break of at last 120 days, landing 17 of their 132 starts since 2012 (prior to yesterday’s racing) for a profit of £45.50. MAHANAKHON would have needed his comeback run when fourth at Redcar and can get off the mark.
