Vincent Kompany has emerged as a shock contender for the Chelsea job and has joined the shortlist of four to become the next Blues manager. So, we’re taking a look at the latest next Chelsea manager odds.
Chelsea’s search for a new manager has seen them put together a shortlist of four. Kompany joins Julian Nagelsmann, Mauricio Pochettino and one other unknown candidate in the race for the job.

The fourth candidate’s name hasn’t yet been reported, but is said to be liked and respected by Chelsea, and it’s not Luis Enrique.
Kompany has impressed in his first managerial job in England. He has led Burnley to automatic promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
The former Manchester City captain has also been linked with the Tottenham Hotspur job, after they sacked Antonio Conte in March.
There’s no secret as to why Kompany is a wanted man, after producing wonders with Burnley in his first season.

Pochettino has also come into the picture, and is said to be assessing his options this summer as he prepares for a return to management. He’s been out of work for almost a year after parting company with PSG back in July last year.
Frank Lampard is currently in charge at Stamford Bridge in a caretaker role until the end of the season. It’s not gone so well for Lampard in his second spell as manager of the club, with four losses in his first four games.
