The latest Manchester City Champions League odds put them as bookies favourites at 5/6. This comes after they’ve beaten Bayern Munich over two legs 4-1.

Bayern Munich came into the game against Manchester City knowing they had a tough task losing 3-0 from the first leg. They showed real attacking threat from the off, but they struggled to break through during the first half.

It was in fact Manchester City that got the game’s first goal. As expected, Erling Haaland scored the goals first game. The former Dortmund man enjoyed his goal away at Allianz Arena, and it was a goal that makes 48 in 41 for Manchester City.

Bayern Munich did get their goal in the evening. Joshua Kimmich slotted home from the penalty spot, but the goal was only a mere smudge on what was Manchester City’s quarter-final domination.

Will Manchester City Finally Win The Big One?

At 5/6 Manchester City are the clear favourites to win the trophy after ten years of trying to claim their first Champions League. Pep Guardiola was appointed by Manchester City with the aim of winning the Champions League. It now seems with Haaland leading the line, they may have cracked the code.

Their journey doesn’t get any easier as Pep faces an old rival, Real Madrid. This semi-final pits the two favourites against each other in what will be a fascinating game. With Haaland up top for Manchester City, it’s hard to look past them making it all the way.

In the final, it’ll be either of the Milan clubs. Neither team are at the best compared to past years. However, in the Champions League their European experience may outshine that of Manchester City.
