In the latest Manchester United transfer news, Monaco have reportedly slapped a £40m pricetag on the Red Devils’ summer target Axel Disasi.

Football Insider have reported that Manchester United target Axel Disasi’s pricetag has been placed at £40m ahead of a potential summer move.
The Red Devils have held an interest in the 25-year-old for some time, and will now reportedly look to bring the Frenchman to the Premier League in the summer.
His pricetag likely comes due to his contract still having two years remaining on it, giving Monaco the upper hand in negotiations.
However, Monaco are said to be open to selling Disasi this summer if their £40 million valuation is met.
Manchester City and Chelsea are also said to be interested in the French international, but United are believed to be leading the race for his signature.

Ten Hag’s need for another central defender was highlighted once again following the Europa League draw against Sevilla.
Both Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez suffered injuries, with the latter being sidelined for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign.
This has seen Harry Maguire come back into the fold, starting in United’s most recent Premier League outing alongside Victor Lindelof.
Maguire and Lindelof face an uncertain future at the club, with Phil Jones and Eric Bailly expected to depart the club in the summer window.
Alongside their interest in Disasi, the Red Devils are also said to be looking at a possible move for Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae.
They will face stern competition in the race to sign Kim however, with Liverpool, Tottenham, PSG and Bayern all reportedly interested in the South Korean, therefore a move for Disasi may be the preferred option.
