Europa Conference League quarter-finalists West Ham are reportedly keeping tabs on out-of-favour Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Football Insider have reported that the Hammers have held a long-term interest in the Red Devils defender.

It is said that they will look to make a move for the Croydon-born defender if they avoid relegation.

Wan-Bissaka has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford, becoming second choice to Diogo Dalot under Erik ten Hag.

A back injury to the 25-year-old at the start of the season gave Dalot a chance to impress in the starting lineup, which he ultimately did and quickly became United’s first-choice right-back.

Ten Hag’s side are reported to be making a move for Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong, a move that could mark the end of Wan-Bissaka’s Man United career.

Wan-Bissaka has played a part under ten Hag since his return from injury however.

After an impressive return, the defender has now made 23 appearances for United in all competitions this season.

With strong interest from West Ham and former club Crystal Palace, Wan-Bissaka was expected to depart Old Trafford in January.

A move didn’t materialise though, after several injuries to first-team defenders at the club.

He looks likely to be on the move this summer, especially with the prospective arrival of Frimpong.

Since his arrival from Palace back in 2019, Wan-Bissaka has made 149 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring twice and assisting 11 times.
