Graham Potter has emerged as the favourite to take over from Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City, after being sacked by Chelsea on Sunday evening. So, we’re taking a look at the latest next Leicester manager odds.
In a day of madness in the Premier League, it was the first time since 2015 that two managers were sacked on the same day, with Rodgers being one of them eight years ago too. He was sacked by Liverpool in 2015, on the same day that Dick Advocaat was dismissed by Sunderland. Now has parted ways with Leicester after the side dropped into the relegation zone, just hours before Potter was sacked by Chelsea.
Leicester City Football Club has reached a mutual agreement with Brendan Rodgers that will see him leave the Club after four years as our Men’s First Team Manager.

Potter saw his time at Stamford Bridge end in brutal fashion on Sunday evening as he was sacked following Chelsea’s 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday evening. He signed a five-year deal with the Blues less than seven months ago, but now finds himself out of a job. Could he make an immediate return to management?
The Foxes are said to be huge admirers of Potter, and has been on their radar having been impressed by his previous work at Brighton.
Could Graham Potter Be A Good Fit At Leicester?
Potter has been successful anywhere he’s managed, apart from Chelsea. He led Swedish side Ostersunds from the fourth tier to the top flight with three promotions in five seasons. He also won the 2017 Swedish Cup, earning a spot in the Europa League and went on to reach the knockouts of the competition.
In his one season at Swansea, he led them to a 10th place finish in the Championship following their relegation from the Premier League. In the same season, he reached the FA Cup quarter-finals where they were beating Manchester City 2-0 before eventually losing 3-2.
Potter was then recruited by Brighton, and made steady progress over three years. He was also the mastermind behind their highest-ever top flight finish when the Seagulls finished ninth last season. He also has Brighton sitting pretty in fourth before leaving the club for Chelsea back in September.
Since leaving Brighton, they’ve continued to thrive under new boss Roberto De Zerbi, meanwhile Potter has not thrived at all.
