Fresh Arsenal transfer news this morning points towards a potential bid for Leeds’ Wilfried Gnonto, who could be among a host of names to leave Elland Road should the club face relegation at the end of the season.
Gnonto, who arrived in Yorkshire last summer for the measly sum of £3.8 million, has quickly emerged as one of the most thrilling wide players in the Premier League.
His switch from Zurich to Leeds was reportedly a snap decision after the latter missed out on a host of attacking targets, but the Whites, and the rest of the league, have quickly realised that the astoundingly low fee was a shrewd piece of business.
The 19-year-old, who already has eight Italy caps to his name, has of course turned the heads of the Premier League elite with his performances, and should Leeds fail to secure their top-flight status for another season, he may look for a quick exit.

According to reports, Manchester City and Chelsea are among those circling, but league leaders Arsenal are thought to hold concrete interest and could look to the teenager in the summer in order to further bolster their attacking unit.
An intelligence well beyond his years, combined with a low centre of gravity and an inherent ability to beat the first man has seen him clock in with seven goal involvement in 20 appearances so far. With seemingly boundless potential, Leeds will no doubt make a sizeable profit margin should they opt to sell in the near future.
New Leeds manager Javi Gracia will have to try and navigate dangerous waters if the club are to hold on to their biggest talents, with the Whites just two points off the drop zone at the time of writing.
