In one of the most thrilling Premier League seasons to date, we’re taking a look at who the dirtiest players in the league are. For this, we’ll be looking at which players have committed the most fouls in the Premier League this season.

Below are the top 10 players who have commited the most fouls in the Premier League during the 2022/23 season, read on to find out who they are!

10. Tyler Adams (Leeds United) – 37

Leeds United’s American defensive midfielder comes in at number 10.

Adams joined the Whites in the summer from RB Leipzig, and has started 24 of their 27 league matches this term.

The 24-year-old has committed 37 fouls in the Premier League this season as his side sit two points clear of the relegation zone.

9. Solly March (Brighton) – 38

Solly March is number nine in our list of players who have committed the most fouls in the Premier League this term.

The Englishman has been with Brighton since 2011 and has become an ever-present figure in their starting lineup.

March has committed 38 fouls this season under both Graham Potter and Roberto De Zerbi.

6. Ryan Yates (Nottingham Forest) – 39

Up next we have three players who are on the same number of fouls.

First, we have Ryan Yates who is fighting with Nottingham Forest to keep their Premier League status in-tact for next season.

Yates joined Forest at the age of eight in 2005 and has been with the club ever since.

The 25-year-old has committed 39 fouls in the English top flight under Steve Cooper this season.

6. Jordan Ayew (Crystal Palace) – 39

Jordan Ayew joins Ryan Yates on 39 fouls committed in the league this term.

Ayew has featured in all 28 of Crystal Palace’s matches this season, starting 22 of them.

The forward has managed just one goal in a Palace side that are desperately struggling to score.

He hasn’t lacked on the fouling front however, with 39 fouls to his name.

6. Joelinton (Newcastle) – 39

Newcastle’s striker turned midfielder Joelinton is also on 39 fouls this season.

Under Eddie Howe, the Brazilian has impressed massively at St James’ Park.

The 26-year-old has featured in 22 league matches this campaign, scoring twice and assisting once.

5. Amadou Onana (Everton) – 41

15th place Everton are the employers of our fifth placed player on this list.

Amadou Onana, who joined in the summer, has committed 41 fouls in Toffee’s colours in the league.

The 21-year-old Belgian has featured in 26 of Everton’s 28 league matches this term.

4. Jeffrey Schlupp (Crystal Palace) – 42

Former Premier League champion Jeffrey Schlupp comes in at number four on this list.

The Ghanaian international won the league title with Leicester City back in 2015/16, but plays his football with Crystal Palace nowadays.

Schlupp has started 24 league games under, the now sacked, Patrick Vieira this season, and has committed 42 fouls in that time.

3. Ivan Toney (Brentford) – 45

Not only is Ivan Toney the third highest scoring player in the Premier League, but he has also committed the third most fouls.

The Englishman has 16 times in 25 Premier League appearances this term, third to only Erling Haaland and Harry Kane.

He hasn’t got the best record when it comes to fouls however.

The Bees striker has committed a massive 45 fouls this season.

2. Moises Caicedo (Brighton) – 47

Just missing out on top spot, we have Moises Caicedo from Brighton.

He becomes the second Brighton player in the list, having committed 47 fouls in the Premier League this season.

The Ecuadorian has played a vital role in Brighton’s success this season, featuring in 24 of their league games.

Caicedo has helped them towards the European places, but hasn’t done it without committing his fair share of fouls.

1. Kai Havertz (Chelsea) – 51

And in top spot we have, perhaps surprisingly, Chelsea forward Kai Havertz.

No single player has committed more fouls in the Premier League than the German this season, as his tally is up to 51.

Havertz has missed just one league match for the Blues this season, scoring on seven ocassions and assisting just once.
