Chelsea are back in the race to sign West Ham United captain Declan Rice, in a bid to lure their former youth player back to Stamford Bridge. However, the Blues do have tough competition from Arsenal amongst others. So, we’re taking a look at the latest Declan Rice next club odds.
The 24-year-old is expected to leave the London Stadium this summer, and a number of Premier League clubs are thought to be considering making a move for the midfielder.
Arsenal have been heavily linked to the England international in recent months, whilst Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool are also reportedly keen on getting involved.
There has been talks of Rice returning to Chelsea in the past and reuniting with one of his best friends and former Blues academy teammates in Mason Mount. However, those rumours went quiet after Enzo Fernandez made his £100+ million move to Stamford Bridge. With the World Cup-winning midfielder impressing upon arrival to the Premier League.

According to Sky Sports’ Florian Plattenberg, Graham Potter’s side are ‘definitely in the race’ to sign Rice, so he is believed to be one of the club’s leading targets this summer.

Rice is under contract at West Ham until 2024, but the club have an option of extending a further year until 2025 due to a clause in his contract. If he was to leave this summer, David Moyes’ side will be looking for over £100 million for their star player.
The England international spent seven years in Chelsea’s academy before being released at 14. Could he make a return, or could we see him elsewhere in London?
