Arsenal stayed top of the league after another thrilling round of matches, and still sit five points clear of City in second place. The Gunners were 3-0 winners at Craven Cottage, defeating a strong Fulham side.

Mikel Arteta’s men can surely start to dream of lifting the trophy, after another dominating win.

As for City, they only just beat Crystal Palace on Saturday, thanks to a 78th minute penalty from Erling Haaland. The Norwegian forward now has 33 goals in 34 games this season.

Even with a five point lead at the top of the table, Arsenal still know that they have to visit the Etihad to face City towards the end of April. The Gunners haven’t beat Pep Guardiola’s side since July 2020 in the FA Cup. They’ve not defeated City in league action since all the way back in 2015.
