Ireland could complete the grand slam this weekend as they face Scotland, with UK betting sites pricing them as 4/7 favourites to win the Six Nations.

Being the number one ranked side in the world, Ireland came into the competition as favourites and they have lived up to expectations. Winning three out of three so far, beating Italy, France, and Wales in emphatic fashion and making a potential grand-slam increasingly likely.

The Irish are known for their fast-start, as in nine of their last 10 Six Nations’ matches they have opened the scoring in the opening ten minutes. However, the one time they failed to do this was against Scotland in Dublin last year, as they had to wait until the 16th minute.

Scotland also have the chance to make history, as they look to complete the trio of victories over England, Ireland, and Wales. The last time a Scottish national side won the ‘Triple Crown’ was back in 1990, giving the Scottish players a chance to end a 33-year wait.

Elsewhere in the Six Nations England face France, as they look to make it three wins from four and end the tournament strongly. Wales are coming off an embarrassing 20-10 defeat to the Red Roses and will be looking to correct things against Italy.

Six Nations Winner Odds:

Ireland @ 4/7

Scotland @ 10/1

France @ 33/1

England @50/1
