Arsenal drew 2-2 away at Sporting Lisbon in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie, and were made to work hard by the Portuguese side. Following the game, we’re taking a look at the latest Arsenal Europa League Odds, as the Gunners chase a double this season.

It was an entertaining affair at the Jose Alvalade Stadium, and Arsenal took the lead on the 22nd minute through a William Saliba header.

However, the Gunners’ lead lasted just 12 minutes, as Sporting responded with a goal from a corner themselves. Goncalo Inacio turned home from a Marcus Edwards delivery.

The score was level at the break, after an exciting first half in the Portuguese capital.

Just 10 minutes after the break, Sporting turned the game around completely. Paulinho stabbed a rebound into the back of the net to fire his team ahead. This all came after a sensational pass from Edwards opened up his teammate to force the initial save. It was yet another world-class performance from the former Tottenham Hotspur youth player.

After going 2-1 up, Sporting had a great chance to make it 3-1 as Paulinho almost found a second of the day for himself.

That miss seemed to be costly for the hosts, as just minutes later Arsenal found a leveller. Granit Xhaka seen his shot take a wicked deflection from Japan midfielder Hidemasa Morita, making it 2-2.
