Fabrizio Romano has ranked as the tenth most influential account on social media app Twitter based on social capital from a study by Notus.
Dubbed the ‘Notable Clout drop,’ Notus have ranked the top 100 most influential Twitter accounts on the platform and Fabrizio Romano ranks tenth with a social cap score of 1.1 billion.
Social cap is a Notus metric that ‘represents how much influence an individual has based on who, how and when others engage with them.’
Romano’s content performs 79.2x better than other Twitter users with a similar level of following.

Since joining in July 2011, Romano has amassed over 14 million followers on Twitter and is widely regarded as the biggest source for football news today.
The 30-year-old from Naples, Italy has worked for Sky Sport and currently reports for The Guardian and CBS Sports, based in Milan.
