Southampton take on Leicester at home this weekend in the Premier League and we have compiled a preview ahead of the game at St Mary’s which includes our prediction as well as early team news for both sides.
Southampton vs Leicester Preview
It is no secret that Southampton have been struggling this season and with the Saints rock bottom of the league five points adrift from safety, things are not looking so good for Ruben Selles’ side.
Selles took over from Nathan Jones in February after the Saints boss was sacked just 14 games into the job, leaving a huge uphill battle ahead for the new manager if he hopes to survive this season.

Southampton beat Chelsea midway through February in a shock result, however other than those three points the Saints have been woeful and recorded just one other win in their last ten league games.
Leicester haven’t been much better than Southampton this season and are another Premier League side struggling for form in 14th place.
Injuries have plagued the Foxes squad all year and James Maddison was the latest star to be sidelined, missing the last two games with an illness/knee injury.
