As things start to heat up in the top flight, we have a Gary Neville Premier League prediction. The former Manchester United defender predicts that his old club will still finish above Arsenal come the end of the season.
Erik ten Hag’s side have just recently lifted their first trophy since 2017, after the Red Devils beat Newcastle United 2-0 in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday. Marcus Rashford continued his fine scoring form, netting yet another goal. Meanwhile, new fan favourite Casemiro also got on the scoresheet with his fifth goal for the club.

Although it’s unlikely, a quadruple is still on for United, with them still left in the FA Cup, Europa League, and only eight points off the league leaders Arsenal.
However, Red Devils legend Neville still doesn’t think that the Gunners will win the league. He believes that Manchester City will win the title, followed by United in second place, and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in third.

“That’s my inkling earlier in the season, what normally happens is one team gets so close they realise they can’t win it and then they just go like that in the last two or three games,” he said on The Overlap. “You lose two games and then all of a sudden someone else goes above you. I thought City would win the league and United would finish second two or three months ago.
“To be fair, I’m not going to change my mind on it. I still think City are going to win the league even though Arsenal, the closer it gets… but 14 games is still a long way to go. I still think United will finish second.”
