Arsenal travel to the King Power Stadium on Saturday to take on Leicester City, as the Gunners look to build on their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
Mikel Arteta and his men regained control of the Premier League last week as a late comeback against Aston Villa coupled with Manchester City dropping points against Forest left the Gunners two points clear at the top of the league again.
Leicester will be hoping to bounce back from defeat to Manchester United this weekend, after the Foxes struggled to deal with the Red Devils losing 3-0 at Old Trafford.

The reverse fixture this season took place in the earlier weeks of the season and the Emirates was treated to a six goal thriller, with Arsenal picking up their second win in as many Premier League games to open their season.

Arsenal will be without Gabriel Jesus this weekend and the Brazilian will be missed after scoring his first two goals for the Gunners against Leicester last time out.

The second-last meeting was another Arsenal win, as goals from David Luiz, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe secured a win for Mikel Arteta’s men. All three goalscorers for Arsenal that day have now left the club, while Leicester’s consolation scorer that day Youri Tielemans is expected to feature on Saturday.

The Gunners’ good record against Leicester extends back three years, as the last time the Foxes beat Arsenal came in October of 2020 when Jamie Vardy scored the only goal of the game.

This will undoubtedly be an action packed game and one that could go either way, but Premier League betting sites are currently favouring Arsenal to come out on top.
