She completed a hat-trick of wins over the New Year period when landing a Wolverhampton handicap in January and has continued in fine form since, recording joint career-best RPR’s (Racing Post Ratings) of 87 on two of her last three runs. PANIC ATTACK is one I’ve opposed in this column on occasions, including last time out when she was an 8-1 fourth at Cheltenham. The reason for taking her on that day was her poor record against male rivals and she’s best judged on her form figures in mares’ races of 121183211 (5-9). She’s back against her own sex today and looks a buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

ANDREA ATZENI was profitable to follow blindly last year, winning on 77 of his 386 mounts, returning a profit of £30.44 to a £1 level stake at SP, and he’s been in fine form overseas of late, winning on three of his last four rides. He returns to the UK this evening with a decent book of rides at Dunstall Park and will be hoping to hit the ground running. Both MINT EDITION (6.15) and LOCAL BAY (8.15) have solid chances of extending their winning runs, as has DAYZEE (5.45) a 33-1 for trainer Mark Fahey in Ireland on her last outing, who is now making her debut for training partnership of Freddie and Martyn Meade. Handicappers RUBINA ROSE (5.10), GAVI DI GAVI (6.45), DARK DESIGN (7.45) and TOP EXHIBIT (7.15) all have decent claims and Atzeni can be bought with Spreadex in the WOLVERHAMPTON JOCKEYS market.
