Progeny of the sire New Bay have an incredible record when running in handicaps – Flat or jumps – on the back of a top-three finish, landing 62 of their 179 starts (34.6% strike-rate) for a profit of £112.99 to a £1 level stake at SP. PADDY’S FANCY took a step forward when runner-up in a mares’ handicap hurdle at Plumpton last time and can go one better this afternoon.

LEVEL UP (system – Hot Streak, 5f, all-weather, 3yos+)
Progeny of the sire Hot Streak have a good record at the minimum trip of 5f on the all-weather and had we only backed those aged three or older we’d have won 24 of our 122 bets and made a profit of £101.13 to a £1 level stake at SP. LEVEL UP contributed with a 17-2 Southwell win on his penultimate start and it was no disgrace to find only the progressive Walking On Clouds too good at the same venue when amateur-ridden next time. Oisin Murphy is on board, and he could prove hard to beat.
