Two European heavyweights in Barcelona and Manchester United go head-to-head tonight in the Europa League, and we asked Sportslens followers on Twitter who they think will win the game.

With Barcelona being the highest ranked team left in the competition, it’ll certainly be a tough test for the Manchester side against the La Liga table toppers.

However, Sportslens followers believe that United will take home the win, with 50% of the voters on the poll opting to pick the Red Devils for the crucial victory in the first-leg of the tie.

32.5% of the voting went in favour of the hosts, with 17.5% of voters predicting a draw at Camp Nou.

Do United Have A Good Chance?

Of course, Erik ten Hag’s side have a very good chance of victory in Barcelona, especially with their blistering form led by Marcus Rashford in attack – who has 21 goals and eight assists this season across all competitions.

However, their recent record against the Spaniards isn’t very good.

Barca have beaten United in four of their last five games, with four wins in a row. Those wins include two Champions League final wins for the Spanish giants, in 2009 and 2011.

Xavi’s side are top of La Liga, and have only lost one game all season and sit comfortably as league leaders holding an eight point advantage over Real Madrid in 2nd.
