Arsenal and Manchester City’s line-ups for this evening’s top-of-the-table clash have been revealed, with Erling Haaland starting for the visitors, as Jorginho replaces injured Thomas Partey in the Gunners line-up.

Manchester City travel to north London for one of the most highly anticipated fixtures of the season this evening. Arsenal take on City in a top-of-the-table clash, as just three points separate both sides, with the Gunners having a game in hand on the visitors. Pep Guardiola’s side will move to the top-of-the-table on goal difference if they can manage a victory tonight.

Both sides last met just under three weeks ago, in the FA Cup. Guardiola got one over his old friend Mikel Arteta in that one, as Man City ran out as 1-0 winners thanks to Nathan Ake’s curling effort. The Citizens have a fantastic record against the legue-leaders in the Premier League, having beaten the Gunners on the last 10 occasions. Can they extend that record this evening, or will Arsenal remain at the top of the pile?

Arsenal Line-Up

Starting XI: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Jorginho, Xhaka, Odegaard (C); Saka, Nketiah, Martinelli

Substitutes: Turner, White, Tierney, Kiwior, Holding, Vieira, Trossard, Nelson, Cozier-Duberry

Thomas Partey misses out on this evening’s crunch-tie due to a muscular injury, and is replaced in the line-up by January signing Jorginho – who makes his first Arsenal start.

Takehiro Tomiyasu also comes into the line-up, replacing England international Ben White at right-back.

Manchester City Line-Up

Starting XI: Ederson, Walker, Dias, Ake; Rodri, Bernardo, Gundogan (C), De Bruyne; Mahrez, Haaland, Grealish

Substitutes: Ortega, Laporte, Akanji, Gomez, Lewis, Phillips, Foden, Palmer, Alvarez

Erling Haaland retains his place in the Man City line-up despite coming off at half-time against Aston Villa with an injury.

Guardiola makes just one change from the side that won 3-1 at the weekend, as Ake replaces Ruben Dias in the starting XI.
