Leeds United’s odds of being relegated from the Premier League is now at 9/4 after Manchester United came from behind to draw 2-2 at Old Trafford.

Leeds, who came into this one without a permanent manager, took the lead very early on. Wilfried Gnonto’s low-drilled effort from the edge-of-the-box flew past David de Gea, finding the bottom left-hand corner to open the scoring after less than a minute.

The visitors’ fortunes took a turn for the worse for the rest of the first-half however, as Pascal Struijk and Luis Sinisterra were forced off through injury.

Erik ten Hag’s side couldn’t find a response, and just three minutes into the second half, Raphael Varane turned the ball into his own net for the Whites’ second of the evening.

All hope was not lost for the Red Devils though, as second-half substitutes Jadon Sancho and Facundo Pellistri inspired a fight-back.

Marcus Rashford continued his rich vein of form halving the deficit after 62 minutes, netting his fifth Premier League goal of the calendar year.

And it was a dream return for Sancho, equalising for United on the 70 minute mark. It was the 22-year-old’s first goal since September 15, ensuring a point for the hosts.
