IVETWIGGEDIT (systems – Tom Lacey stable switchers & Tom Lacey handicap hurdle debutants)
Tom Lacey has a useful record at the first time of asking with horses he takes over from other yards, scoring with 15 of the 65 qualifiers for a profit of £20.88 to a £1 level stake at SP. He also does well with handicap hurdle debutants, winning with 19 of the 91 runners for a profit of £59.50. IVETWIGGEDIT, previously with Ben Pauling, qualifies on both counts and could go well despite the 382-day absence.
HUNTINGDON 4.10
WEST CORK (system – Midnight Legend hurdlers, second run after a wind operation)
Progeny of the sire Midnight Legend have a good record on their second run following wind surgery, especially the handicap hurdlers. Eight of the 35 qualifiers won for a profit of £36.50 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 4.15). Several of the beaten horses made the frame and WEST CORK, unbeaten in two course outings, pulled up in a Doncaster handicap chase last month on his first start following the wind operation but might do better now returned to hurdles at his favourite venue.
