Marcel Sabitzer is on the verge of signing for Man United on loan from Bayern Munich.
Sabitzer’s named has been linked with Man United before this window, but the injury to Christian Eriksen forced United’s hand.
Eriksen was on the end of a big challenge from Andy Carroll in the FA Cup over the weekend. It has now been confirmed that he will be out until the end of April.
Bayern Munich midfielder Sabitzer will be a handy replacement for Eriksen, and the deal is looking extremely likely.
It will just be a loan until the end of the season, with no option to buy at the end of it.

At just 28-years-old, Sabitzer is in the prime of his career. He’s an international footballer with Austria and has vast experience in the Bundesliga.
Before signing for Bayern, Sabitzer was at Red Bull Leipzig. Despite a promising start to his time at Bayern, he has fallen down the pecking order due to the talent at Bayern.
