Since the beginning of 2012, Sandy Thomson has a 91 from 465 record with his runners from November to January for a huge profit of £263.50 to a £1 level stake at SP. At the time of writing, this angle has found 13 winners from 40 bets (32.5% strike rate) this winter for a profit of £44.41 to the usual £1 level stake at SP and WAR SOLDIER has sound claims of keeping the ball rolling.

ROYAL SAM (System – Milton Harris, first-time tongue-tie, handicaps)
Since the start of 2010 trainer Milton Harris is six from 25 with his runners in a first-time tongue-tie in handicaps for a profit of 20.50 to a £1 level stake at SP. ROYAL SAM makes his handicap debut this afternoon and could surprise in the first-time headgear.
WOLVERHAMPTON 7.00
CICELY (system – Kevin Philippart De Foy, second run for the yard)
Kevin Philippart De Foy does very well with horses he takes over from other yards, especially at the second time of asking. Had we backed all 59 qualifiers, we’d have found 13 winners (22% strike rate) with a £22.60 profit to £1 level stake at SP. CICELY was beaten by a neck into second on her stable debut over course and distance and can go one place better on her return this evening.
