DELUXE RANGE (12.28) and DONNA’S DOUBLE (1.38) are bigger prices, but both have place prospects and a buy of Mania’s points in the KELSO JOCKEYS market looks warranted. Fixed odds punters might want to combine his mounts in a multiple bet.

On the subject of Sandy Thomson, the handler also has a live chance with DOYEN BREED in the three-mile handicap hurdle at Doncaster. The seven-year-old didn’t progress over fences last term after scoring on his chase debut at Hexham in mid-November and has had wind surgery ahead of today’s reappearance/return to hurdles. Thomson is six from 24 in handicaps with horses having their first start after a wind operation (+£5.41 to a £1 level stake at SP), improving to four from 11 with the hurdlers only (+£11.08).
