Youri Tielemans will leave Leicester City at the end of the season, as a host of Premier League sides look to sign the Belgian this summer.

Leicester are in one of the tightest relegation battles in recent history, as the Foxes sit 19th in the Premier League table. Long time manager, Brendan Rodgers was sacked due to a run of poor results and his replacement, Dean Smith, has failed to turn things around.

After yesterday’s 3-0 defeat to Liverpool, reality of relegation will start to set in for Leicester supporters with only two games remaining.

Star players, James Maddison and Youri Tielemans, are reportedly set for a summer departure – even if the club can avoid the drop.

Tielemans, who has impressed during his time at the King Power, has made 35 appearances in all competitions and has contributed to five goals.

The Belgium international has attracted interest from a host of Premier League outfits, as Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham have all been linked with a summer approach.

Erik ten Hag has made a midfield addition a priority this summer and has targeted the likes of, Frenkie de Jong, Moises Caicedo and Adrien Rabiot to bolster his side next season.

Similarly, Arsenal have planned moves to strengthen the club’s midfield, as Declan Rice looks set to join the Gunners at the end of the campaign.

However, with Rice and Caicedo being priced at £80-£100m, both Arsenal and United may be looking for cheaper alternatives. As Tielemans could be departing as a free agent, with his current deal expiring in the summer.

Prior to the Belgian’s move to Leicester, Arsenal had been favourites to acquire his services meaning they could have a head start when approaching the player this summer.
